CALGARY – EPCOR CENTRE for the Performing Arts is thrilled to present eight visual artists who will showcase works in a variety of mediums that examine our sense of place within the context of Alberta.
The Centre has partnered with the Calgary Stampede to exhibit highlights of the Western Showcase Artist Ranch Project. Up to five artists are selected every year to participate in this unique program whereby artists draw inspiration through their experience of western values by retreating to a working ranch. See the resulting creations by artists Bernadette McCormack, Jill Nuckles, Pascale Ouellet, Karen Scarlett and Tharrie Zietsman.
