Available at the Alberta Craft Gallery - Edmonton & Calgary

Holly Boone was born and raised in Mansfield, Ohio. She attended Bowling Green State University with a major in Fine Art Photography although she has been a mixed media artist for many years. She is continuously inspired by animals, nature, colour, and the Universe.

In 2009 she and her husband started their own art studio (Polar Lights Art Studio) in their home in Edmonton with the hopes of showing the public what makes them happy - creating art together. They currently sell their artwork online through Facebook, Twitter, Etsy, and their website. Holly also volunteers at the Alberta Craft Council Gallery Shop.

Inspired by the needle-felt work at the Alberta Craft Council, Holly has quickly developed into a skilled felter and has discovered her passion. She creates small animal sculptures but plans to develop her felting skills further to incorporate these techniques into other creations such as felted landscapes.
