Come out, meet new people and get crafty using hand tools, found objects and art supplies to make miniature sculptures that express your very own narratives. A fun creative workshop guided by sculptor Shona Rae to bring out your inner artist.

Shona Rae received her Diploma in applied art and design from the Kootenay School of the Arts Cooperative in 1998 and her BFA with distinction in 2000 from the Alberta College of Art + Design. She has won numerous national and international awards, government grants and attention for her sculptural art.

Hand tools, and base materials will be provided.

Students must bring small found objects of significance with personal or visual value, an apron/paint smock, notebook, drawing tools, close toed shoes, and casual clothing you aren't afraid to get a little dirty.

No experience necessary.
