Spend the day exploring sculpture and nature. Join the Alberta Craft Council on a guided tour of the renowned Kiyooka Ohe Arts Centre (KOAC) outdoor sculpture park with Heidi Gedlaman. Followed by a Wild Weave Workshop with Patricia Lortie.

The focus of KOAC permanent collection is on Canadian and European modern sculpture. The goal is to preserve and showcase important carefully selected quality works of art. Among the monumental pieces are those by Ray Arnatt, Roy Leadbeater, Michael Sandle, Charles Robert Boyce, Alex Caldwell, Katie Ohe.

Patricia’s Wild Weave seeks to connect people with Nature and will demonstrate and guide us through a grass weaving exercise. The workshop encourages walking through the land, finding dried grass and twigs and directs our attention toward the world that surrounds us.
