Join the Alberta Craft Council in celebrating the opening reception for Discovery Gallery Exhibition Haptic Rituals by fibre and ceramic artist Lael Chmelyk.

Chmelyk is a Calgary based artist and graduate of the Ceramics Department at AUArts. In her exhibition she explores ideas of other hood through quilting and functional ceramics and through this exploration and reclaiming of domestic objects, invites the viewer to question the status quo and investigate the role their physiologies play in their own story.
