Birding in Albirda

  • Alberta Craft Gallery & Shop 10186 - 106 Street Edmonton Canada (map)

Join us for a very special exhibition tour of Albirda: Put A Bird On it, with Erin Dykstra of Wild Birds Unlimited. This Feature Gallery exhibition is a salute to the fascinating creatures of flight that live in and migrate through our province each year. With fine craft objects from over 60 Alberta craft artists, Albirda celebrates our province’s winged wildlife through a broad diversity of depicted bird species, materials, and artistic approaches. Join Erin as she takes a unique approach to birding by examining the lives and characteristics of the over 20 avian species represented. Erin is generously donating her speaker fee to WILDNorth.

WILDNorth’s Education Ambassador, Corby the common crow will also be in attendance for this special event. Please note: Education Ambassadors are wild animals and although every effort is made to maintain committed appearances, WILDNorth reserves the right to omit them from programming if it is necessary. Alternatives such as a substitute ambassador, or rescheduling the appearance may occur.

This is a free public event.

Albirda: Put A Bird On It runs until October 29.
