Kudos: Into the Woods - An Exhibition By Larissa Blokhuis

This mixed media – glass, ceramic and fibre – installation by Larissa Blokhuis explores our deeply ingrained human connection to nature as we move toward an increasingly urban population. Currently, people with a narrow focus on economic concerns and little regard for nature are causing the biggest environmental changes. Using familiar but strange imagery that is recognizable as plant life but not necessarily identifiable, Larissa shows a version of what we could enjoy if people with the highest regard for nature are able to restrict unnatural interference with the environment.
