In conjunction with the Fibre Art Network (FAN) Confrence, Alberta Craft organized a tour of Fibre Studios in and around the Edmonton area. In this tour we will explore 3 studios and gain first-hand insight into what they have to offer first-timers, hobbyists, and professionals alike.
This self-driving tour will begin at the Alberta Craft Council in downtown Edmonton and continue on to three fibre arts studios: Qiviut Inc. Fibre Mill, Blenderz Garment Recyclers, and Gather Textiles.
Edmonton and area attendees meet at the Alberta Craft Gallery + Shop in downtown Edmonton at 10am before heading out to the first studio stop on the tour at Qiviut in Nisku, AB.
