“I love working in clay. I appreciate how I can take a brute, raw material, and make it into something classic, elegant, and luxurious.”

Amy (Miller) Bouchard is an artist practicing in her home studio in Airdrie, Alberta. She has been teaching ceramics since completing her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Ceramics at the Alberta University of the Arts in 2015. She teaches public & private classes as well as Continuing Education for Ceramics at the Alberta University of the Arts. Teaching has allowed her technical skills to develop and grow while staying up to date with current trends in ceramics.

She previously worked as an apprentice at a top ceramic studio in Calgary where she learned the business and details of ceramic production for optimal efficiency. Through hard work, commitment and dedication she has created a line of ceramics that she is proud to stand behind.
