Annoucement: Michael Hosaluk Wins 2016 Robert Jekyll Award

The Canadadian Craft Federation / Fédération canadienne des métiers d'art is proud to announce the 2016 Robert Jekyll Award for Leadership in Craft recipient, Michael Hosaluk.

Well known for his artistic career, Hosaluk has also had a significant impact on the Canadian, and international, craft community. A founder of the Saskatchewan Woodworkers Guild in 1979, the American Association of Woodturners in 1986, and the Furniture Society of North America in 1991, he has strengthened the community through active leadership for more than 40 years.

The award will be presented alongside the ACC Alberta Craft Awards on October 14th during the opening reception of the CCF/FCMA's annual conference, "Cultivating Craft", taking place at the Alberta College of Art + Design in part with the Alberta Craft Council in Calgary.
