Applications Now Open for Alberta Arts Flood Rebuild Fund

Deadline September 9

The Alberta Arts Rebuild partners are pleased to announce that applications to the Alberta Arts Flood Rebuild Fund are now open to both individuals and organizations affected by the 2013 Alberta floods. This program is intended to provide relief funding to cover short- to mid-term needs, namely unrecoverable costs, restoration costs and unrealized revenues. Please note that this round of funding is not meant to address restoration or repair costs related to venue, residence, office or studio.

Money for the Alberta Arts Flood Rebuild Fund has been raised through donations on crowdfunding platform InvestYYC.com, with matching funds generously contributed by Suncor Energy Foundation and The Alberta Foundation for the Arts, with additional support from Calgary Arts Development. The need for short- to mid-term relief is immense, so all donations collected through InvestYYC's ongoing fundraising up to September 9, 2013 will be dispensed through this round of funding.

This application process will be administered through Calgary Arts Development's Online Granting Interface.
