Advanced Glassblowing Begin
August 05, 2013 - August 09, 2013 & August 12, 2013 - August 16, 2013
This course is intended for beginners and students of all skill levels. We will begin at the beginning and cover glass gathering skills, blowout techniques, various punty styles, and some sculptural techniques. From there I prefer to tailor instruction to each individual student’s needs. I also encourage suggestions for demonstration content. I will be bringing enough murrini (mosaic cane) for each student to make a murrini masterwork (don’t worry you’ll have help). On the final day of class students will work as a team to create a large vessel. You are welcome to take both weeks since individual instruction is a feature of this workshop. Sign up!
