The Alberta Craft Council is a Provincial Arts Service Organization that develops, promotes, and advocates for Craft in Alberta. We support contemporary and heritage Crafts as significant art forms that contribute to Alberta’s culture, and are invested in developing a craft sector of creative, skilled, viable, and sustainable craftspeople, studios, businesses, and networks.

We have been operating since 1980, and currently run two Alberta Craft Gallery & Shop locations in Edmonton and Calgary. Both locations offer free access to exhibitions, social enterprise retail, and online programming including artists talks and professional development opportunities for Alberta Craft artists.
