Pensive Nude

Thrown Porcelain, Cobalt Pencil Drawing, Limestone Glaze
9", 23cm

Much of the ceramic work by Carol and Richard Selfridge has a figurative theme. "Pensive Nude" is thrown porcelain, but the image of a seated woman is drawn on the clay with a cobalt pencil and then fired with a translucent limestone glaze.
